Q: Is ‘New Life’ a denomination?
Yes, it is. New Life Churches International is a Pentecostal Christian church denomination that was
formally established in New Zealand in the 1960s.
Q: Can I use the church building for my private purpose?
Private functions including wedding bookings are available to members only. Other Churches are welcome to book for seminars or one-off events as well. If you are a corporate company/organisation/individual looking for a venue to use, please come and visit us because we might be able to help.
Q: Do you have a crèche?
Yes. The creche is available to children aged 18 months to 4 years old.
Q: Do you have kid’s church?
Yes. KidsChurch is available to children aged 5 years to 12 years old
Q: Do you have a youth ministry?
Yes. Young adults from 13 years old and above meet every Sunday afternoon, after the worship service here at church. They have great teaching, exciting fellowship and lots of fun and activities for everyone.
Q: How can I be a regular member of NSNL?
It’s very simple, just come to our church services and fill in the Visitors Slip which is available on the HUB desk and Pastor Jason An will be in contact to organise a time to visit or have a chat over coffee.
Q: In what form do you baptise people?
Matthew 28: 18-20 says ” Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” When a person is being baptised they are identifying with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. It is an outward demonstration, through full emersion of water, of what has already taken place inwardly.
Q: Who can be baptised here?
Anyone who has repented and accepted Jesus Christ into their life as Lord and saviour. Acts 2: 38 Says, “Repent and be baptised everyone of you…” Mark 16: 16 says “Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved…”
Q: How often do you do communion?
Communion is on the 3rd Sunday of every month, however, we do share communion on special days or teachings.
Q: How can I get a tax refund from my offering?
North Shore New Life Christian Fellowship is registered as a charitable entity (Reg# CC23540) under the Charities Act 2005 and has a donee status under the Income Tax Act 2007. Which means that any tithes, offerings or donations that are given to the church by an individual or company can receive a tax credit (formerly called rebates) from the Government of 33.33% of monies given up to a maximum threshold of your taxable income. To receive any rebate you need to have a valid tax receipt that is issued from the church at the end of the financial year. You will need to ensure that your name or Tithe number is attached with your donations each time that you give. Q: What are the ways to give my offering to the church?
There are several ways you can give money to the church:
• Cash in the offering
• Cheque in the offering
• EFTPOS or Credit card at “The HUB” at church – (make sure you put your name or Tithe number on
the receipt or Tithes and Offering envelope and put it in the ‘Offering bag’ or in the ‘Visitors slips and Offerings Box’ attached to the wall at the back of the Auditorium)
• Regular automatic payment from your bank account
• Direct credit or bill payment from your bank account

Q: Where can I park my car on Sunday?
There is parking available on the Church site as well as parking on Akoranga Drive, Kitewao Street and the
roads off Kitewao.
Q: Can I park my car in the church car park during weekdays?
If you are a member of NSNL Church or a student at AUT and wish to park on the church site, come and see us at the Church office. The office will be open from 9:00 am till 12:00 noon, Tuesdays through to Fridays.
Q: Who can use the nursery room?
This area is available to Nursing mothers, parents or caregivers of infants.
Q: How can I get pastoral counseling from this church?
Either by coming in on a Sunday morning and speaking with Pastor Jason An or you can ring or come into the office between church office hours and we can make an appointment for you to see him.
Q: What kind of mission work do you guys do?
We support an orphanage in the Philippines, our own church member in Egypt and The Joshua
Foundation in Tanzania.
